Event Detail
Run for School is ars86care Foundation's virtual running and walking fundraiser for children's reading corners in Indonesia. The 2026 campaign supports TK Mardi Putro I in Demak and TK Pertiwi I Tambakan in Grobogan, Central Java. Participants choose their own routes rather than travel to either school.
A flexible distance challenge
Accumulate 21 kilometres through running or walking during the published activity period, from 1 September to 14 November 2026. Multiple sessions are allowed, making the challenge accessible to beginners. The target is 21 km in total, not 21,000 steps or a requirement to race a continuous half marathon.
The organiser states that each completed target supports a donation of two books for its reading-corner programme. This is the campaign's pledge, not an independently verified delivery of books or a payment to participants.
Extended registration
The organiser's September announcement extends registration until 7 November, replacing the original September closing date. Register through the official Run for School page and follow its linked application instructions. Retain your confirmation and activity records.
The public FAQ reviewed does not identify a compulsory tracking app, the full evidence-submission procedure or a separate final upload hour. Confirm these with ars86care before starting and submit early rather than assuming there is an additional grace period after 14 November.
Package and eligibility checks
The running jersey is an optional paid add-on, not part of the standard entry, and is only offered to registered participants. Confirm any postage, overseas eligibility, minimum-age rules and delivery or collection arrangements with the foundation before paying. No physical race course, aid stations or shared flag-off are included.
Race Pack Information
Dispatch or collection dates, postage and overseas delivery are not published in the reviewed material. Confirm with ars86care before payment. The optional dry-fit jersey costs IDR200,000 extra and is available only with entry. Published sizes are 1 (S/M), 2 (L/XL) and 3 (3XL); consult the official size chart. No on-site race collection is assumed.
