Event Detail
NAX Marathon 2027 is a first-edition fully virtual Malaysia running event organised by NAX under THEBRG Enterprise. Choose either 1-31 January or 1-28 February 2027 and complete your selected distance on your own route anywhere in Malaysia.
Published categories are 10 km, 21.1 km, 42.2 km, 84.4 km, 168.8 km and 337.6 km. Distances may be accumulated across multiple GPS-recorded sessions within the selected month. Walking sections are allowed, and treadmill runs are accepted when the record clearly shows date, time and distance.
Minimum ages are 15 for 10K, 16 for the half marathon and 18 for the marathon and ultra categories.
As of 16 October 2026, the waitlist is open but paid registration has not launched. Fees remain TBC, so this is an advance ARC draft rather than an event currently accepting payment.
Participation is restricted to runners with a Malaysian delivery address. Race kits and finisher packs are shipped domestically with tracking; extra delivery charges may apply to East Malaysia, remote areas and islands. Verified finishers are advertised an official medal and digital finisher certificate.
The official site identifies the organiser as NAX under THEBRG Enterprise and publishes Malaysian registration number 003120480-W. This is a useful legitimacy signal, but it remains a first edition without a historic fulfilment record.
What's Included
