RUN as ONE - GLOBAL Virtual Run Series 2026/2027: 9th Challenge, Japan

Tokyo Marathon Foundation's ninth RUN as ONE - GLOBAL challenge connects runners worldwide through a virtual half marathon. This January round is separate from the seventh and eighth challenges already in ARC and does not require travel to Japan.

Confirmed dates and advance registration

The foundation's event-specific calendar and ONE TOKYO programme both confirm the activity period of 16-24 January 2027 and an application window from 25 December 2026 to 11 January 2027. As of 16 October, this is an advance listing, not an event accepting immediate payment.

Tracking and participation

The official calendar confirms the half-marathon target of 21.0975 km. Participants must register and connect the specified running app before taking part. Follow the ninth challenge's own instructions when they are released: its app requirements, evidence rules, cumulative-versus-continuous format and precise activity cutoffs have not yet been independently confirmed for this listing.

The guest entry price and any membership-specific fee conditions must also be checked on the eventual entry page. Prices and start hours from earlier rounds have not been copied into this one. What this entry does not include

This is remote running, not admission to the physical Tokyo Marathon. No physical medal, shirt or delivery package has been verified for the ninth challenge.
