RUN as ONE - GLOBAL Virtual Run Series 2026/2027: Final Challenge, Japan

Tokyo Marathon Foundation's Final Challenge closes the 2026/2027 RUN as ONE - GLOBAL virtual-running season. Runners participate remotely on their own routes, without travelling to Japan. This March half-marathon challenge is separate from the earlier GLOBAL rounds, the Premium Virtual Run final in February and the physical Tokyo Marathon.

Confirmed programme

The foundation's event-specific calendar confirms 20-28 March 2027 and a 21.0975 km target. Its season announcement repeats the March dates. Registration is scheduled for 5-15 March, so this is an advance listing rather than an event accepting entries now.

Before taking part

Register through the official virtual-run hub and connect the specified running app before recording eligible activity. Check the Final Challenge's own instructions when released: its tracking requirements, cumulative-versus-single-activity rule, minimum age and exact closing hours have not yet been verified. Earlier rounds' rules and prices have not been copied into this listing.

No confirmed guest fee or physical merchandise package is available for this round. A blank price does not mean free entry. The series advertises participation benefits for paid ONE TOKYO GLOBAL members, but those do not make membership itself free.

Entry-right draws

The advertised Tokyo Marathon draw is conditional and does not give every finisher a place. Non-complimentary entry rights still require payment for the physical race. The additional all-series draw requires completion of all ten challenges, not just this final round.
