Event Detail

The Singtel - Singapore Cancer Society Race Against Cancer 2026 included official 21 km and 42 km virtual categories for participants completing their distance anywhere using Strava.

Accumulative virtual race

Participants accumulated either 21 km or 42 km between 20 September and 15 October 2026. Activities were linked through Strava and synced to the participant profile.

Because of haze conditions, Singapore Cancer Society later updated the rules to allow treadmill runs and walks, replacing the earlier no-treadmill guideline. Participants should follow the latest FAQ rather than older race-category copy.

Registration and fundraising

Virtual registration closed on 19 September 2026. There was no separate registration fee. To qualify for race entitlements, participants needed both to complete the selected distance and meet the fundraising threshold:

  • 21K: minimum S$65 raised
  • 42K: minimum S$75 raised

Fundraising supported Singapore Cancer Society programmes including cancer treatment, rehabilitation, welfare aid, care and support for children and youth.

Entitlements

Qualified virtual participants receive an event T-shirt, race pack, e-certificate and finisher medal. Overseas participants could join the virtual event, but race entitlements were available for collection in Singapore rather than mailed overseas.

Credibility

The event is published directly by Singapore Cancer Society with Singtel as title partner. The official site provides detailed registration, fundraising, Strava, entitlement and participant records, making this a strongly verified institutional event.
