Tata Steel World 25K Kolkata 2026 Virtual Run, India

Tata Steel World 25K Kolkata's virtual event lets participants join the India-based programme on a route of their own choosing. It is a separate entry from the physical Kolkata race and does not require travel to Red Road.

Completing your virtual race

Choose one of the three distances and complete it in one continuous recorded effort, not by combining runs on different days. Use the dedicated HDOR app within the official window: 12:01 am Indian Standard Time on 13 December to 11:59 pm on 20 December 2026. A separate practice window is advertised for 5 to 12 December.

Check the app's recording and connectivity before starting, and retain your activity evidence. The organiser can request proof of identity, age or activity and can reject invalid records. Do not assume that a Strava upload, treadmill session or another event's tracking rules will automatically be accepted.

Entry and participation rules

Apply online through the organiser's registration system using one email address and one virtual category. The published rules say that no outside individual or group is authorised to collect entries on Procam's behalf. Follow the age and parental-consent requirements in the actual application form.

Virtual entrants are prohibited from entering the official Kolkata race course or using its event facilities on 20 December. The listing does not include physical-race shirts, aid stations or expo collection. Participant-requested refunds are not offered under the published rules.

Information to check

The main information page mistakenly labels its first fee table 'Virtual Half Marathon', while its description, entry rules and reward page consistently identify the distance as 25 km. This listing follows those explicit 25K rules, not the erroneous heading. Confirm the matching age and birth-date requirement during registration.
