Event Detail
World Vision Global 6K for Water Malaysia 2026 is the Malaysian virtual edition of World Vision's international 6K campaign. Participants complete 6 km on their own route and can take part without attending a shared physical start line.
Complete 6 km anywhere
Run, walk or hike 6 km anytime before the end of 31 December 2026. Participants can connect a Strava-enabled device or upload their activity manually through the campaign platform.
World Vision uses the 6 km distance to represent the long journey many children and families still make to collect water. This listing records the organiser's campaign message but does not independently verify individual project outcomes.
Registration and fundraising
Registration is RM129 and remains open through 20 December 2026. World Vision states that the registration contributes to clean-water work across Cambodia, Democratic Republic of Congo, Kenya, Nepal, the Philippines, Sri Lanka and Vietnam. A Global 6K for Water T-shirt is included.
Participants can also fundraise beyond the entry fee. The top three individual fundraisers and top three team fundraisers as of 31 December are advertised tokens of appreciation worth up to RM300 per individual and RM1,000 per team, with winners announced on 15 January 2027.
Credibility
This event is published directly on World Vision Malaysia's official website and uses World Vision's own campaign infrastructure. That provides a strong institutional organiser trail. ARC has not independently audited charitable disbursement or fulfilment.
