The Brunei Half Marathon 2026

The Brunei Half Marathon returns for its second edition on 21 and 22 November 2026, bringing runners together for a two-day road-running programme in Brunei. The event is organised through a partnership between Arrowtech Sports and Royal Brunei Airlines and is designed around a distinctive national landmark and destination-running experience.

The headline 21.1 km Half Marathon is scheduled for Saturday night, 21 November, with a confirmed 22:00 local start. The 10 km and 5 km events follow on Sunday, 22 November. Current organiser information confirms timing-chip use, return shuttle transport for registered runners, baggage storage and distance-specific participant and finisher items. The organiser has also published current-edition medal and race-shirt designs for all three distances.

Registration continues through 15 October 2026 unless places sell out earlier. On 1 October the organiser announced that the planned late-registration price increase would be waived, allowing runners to continue entering at the previously published regular rates during the final registration period. The event also includes a Corporate Challenge for participating organisations.

The course is centred on the Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien crossing, giving runners an unusual opportunity to experience the landmark on foot. The 21.1 km event takes place at night, while the 10 km and 5 km races are scheduled for the following day. Exact shorter-race start times and detailed race-pack collection times have not yet been confirmed in the current material, so they are intentionally left unset in ARC.
