The Provincial Government of DKI Jakarta collaborates with PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk to organize the BTN Jakarta International Marathon 2024 on June 23, 2024.
The BTN Jakarta International Marathon 2024 is a continuation of the BTN Jakarta Run 2023 event, which includes categories of 10K, Half Marathon, and Marathon. It is hoped that the BTN Jakarta International Marathon 2024 will continue to serve as a platform and inspiration for sports enthusiasts in Indonesia to channel their hobbies and achievements, certainly with some improvements and collaboration and support from the Provincial Government and PASI Indonesia for the trust and comfort of BTN Jakarta International Marathon (JAKIM) participants.
The total prize money provided in this event is approximately Rp3 billion, including the main prize of a house for participants who break the marathon record, specifically for Indonesian citizens.
The Jakarta International Marathon is also held to enliven the celebration of the 497th Anniversary of DKI Jakarta. This event, which also serves as the opening of the registration for Jakim 2024, was attended by the Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono and the President Director of PT BTN Nixon LP Napitupulu. Heru Budi stated that he would carry out sterilization along the routes to be taken by the participants of BTN Jakim 2024 and hoped that the participants of the BTN Jakim 2024 event could break the record from the previous year.
