Event Detail
The BIGK Suzhou 100 Urban Trail Race takes place on 21–22 November 2026 in Wuzhong District, Suzhou, Jiangsu. Based at Sun Wu Culture Park, the event connects the urban fringe of Suzhou with mountain paths, woodland and the landscape surrounding Taihu Lake. Despite its urban-trail name, this is an off-road running challenge with significant climbing.
The 100 km race starts at 6:00 am on Saturday 21 November. The organiser specifies approximately 4,524 m of cumulative ascent and a 28-hour cutoff, with the final cutoff falling on Sunday morning. Entrants should prepare for long stretches on trail and the possibility of running after dark.
The other advertised distances are 65.3 km, with approximately 2,979 m of ascent, a 6:00 am start and a 17-hour limit, and 27 km, with approximately 933 m of ascent, an 8:00 am start and a seven-hour limit. These are the real organiser distances, not rounded 50K or 30K races. Provisional ITRA point information is provided by the organiser but should not be considered final certification.
Entries and practical information
The 2026 registration page lists CNY 1,299 for the 100 km, CNY 859 for 65.3 km and CNY 359 for 27 km. General registration closed at 10:00 pm China time on 9 October 2026. The organiser announced a ballot-result date of 19 October and a refund process for unsuccessful applicants. Runners should not assume entries remain available.
The event base at Sun Wu Culture Park makes the city accessible for accommodation, but course preparation is closer to a mountain ultra than a road race. Entrants should check final official route maps, required kit, checkpoint restrictions, pickup arrangements, any shuttle service and race-week advisories. The 100 km schedule extends into Sunday, so onward travel should account for the entire finish window.
Website listing note: The ARC system has a correct 100 km structured distance but currently lacks the exact 65.3 km and 27 km options. Both genuine additional courses and their published prices are described here rather than assigning misleading substitutes.
