Garmin Run Hong Kong 2026 is the Hong Kong stop of the international Garmin Run Marathon Series, taking place on Sunday 20 December 2026 at Sha Tin Sports Ground, 18 Yuen Wo Road. The 2026 race accepts up to 3,500 participants and has a Garmin Run Club training programme for eligible entrants, under the From Zero to Hero theme.

The confirmed race programme includes 21 km individual, 10 km individual, and 3 km Vitality Fun Run in both individual and family formats. Family teams consist of one adult aged 18+ and one child aged 6–15. The 3K is noncompetitive, without age-group podiums. The 10K and 21K events have applied for local athletics-association recognition, but participants should not assume certification is granted until confirmed.

Official race cutoffs: 21K runners have 2 hours 30 minutes, 10K runners 1 hour 30 minutes, and both 3K groups 50 minutes. The organiser advises arriving at least 45 minutes before your assigned start. Assigned start waves depend partly on expected finish times and will appear in the race-pack collection email; runners cannot select or switch waves. The original ARC draft's 7:15am event start is a provisional planning marker pending published wave details, not a guaranteed 21K flag-off time.

Entry deadline: 31 October 2026 at 11:59pm HKT, subject to reaching capacity earlier. Entry is online only; one competitor may register for one category. Successful registration confirmation is normally issued within five working days after submission and payment. Entry fees are not refundable, and bib/chip transfers are not permitted. The official fee matrix is currently displayed in graphics not reliably readable through the accessible page text; therefore this listing does not invent race-category fee cards or use 2025 prices. The official page advertises separate Garmin Forerunner watch-and-entry bundles: these are product packages, not ordinary race entry fees, and should not be confused with them.

Race-pack collection is mandatory before race day. Collection dates and venue have not yet been published. Garmin expects to email each entrant a QR-coded collection notice about a month before the race; contact the organiser if not received by 4 December. Collect with the QR email and original HKID or passport, or authorise a representative with the signed letter and documents. No mail delivery or race-day bib collection.

On race day: place the timing-chip bib visibly on the chest, allow for early-morning transport around Sha Tin, and use Garmin's supplied baggage bag for the complimentary baggage-drop service. Do not store valuables. The 10K/21K competitive prizes are based on gun time, whereas the 3K has no competitive ranking. Finishers within their time limit receive a category medal, electronic certificate and sports towel.

Severe-weather policy: if Hong Kong Observatory issues Tropical Cyclone Signal 3 or above or a Red/Black Rainstorm Warning from 4:00am on 20 December, the event is cancelled; check Garmin channels on race morning. Registrations and official route details may be subject to further organiser changes.
