Hindustan Marathon 12th Edition New Delhi 2027 (Rescheduled)

Important rescheduling notice: The organiser's current registration page explicitly states that the 12th Hindustan Marathon has been rescheduled from 25 October 2026 to Sunday 31 January 2027, and relocated from Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium to Dwarka, New Delhi. The earlier 2026 race date, original stadium venue and 24 October bib-collection arrangements are obsolete. This is a rescheduled edition of the same event, not a second race.

New race date and venue: Sunday 31 January 2027, Dwarka, New Delhi. The organiser has not yet specified the exact Dwarka sector, starting gate or final course, so the map point indicates the Dwarka neighbourhood only and should not be treated as the race start. Check the event organiser's latest emails and route instructions before travelling.

Official 2027 race programme (India Standard Time, UTC+5:30)

• 21.1 km half marathon: 5:30 am flag-off, 3-hour cut-off, minimum age 18, INR 1,800.
• 10 km timed run: 6:00 am flag-off, 2-hour cut-off, minimum age 15, INR 1,500.
• 5 km timed run: 6:30 am flag-off, 1-hour cut-off, minimum age 10, INR 1,200.

Despite the event's marathon name, no 42.2 km full marathon is advertised. The organiser offers age-group awards for the leading three women and men in each published age bracket. Running participants are promised professional timing, a finisher medal, premium dry-fit T-shirt, e-certificate, breakfast, course hydration, medical facilities, volunteers, baggage arrangements and washrooms. Final results, timing certificates and photographs are expected online within three days, subject to organiser verification.

Compulsory bib and T-shirt pickup

Saturday 30 January 2027, 12 noon to 6 pm IST. The organiser says entrants will receive the exact pickup venue by email approximately seven days before race day. No race-day collection is available, and runners without an event bib will not be admitted to the race. Bring your registration confirmation and identification as required in those instructions; do not travel to the old Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium pickup location.

Entry rules and rescheduling

The organiser states that bookings are non-transferable and normally non-refundable and that valid registrations carry forward if the race is postponed. Existing entrants affected by the reschedule should confirm their registration and any changes directly with the organiser at hindustanmarathon@gmail.com or its WhatsApp-only number +91 9717415388.

Registration deadline requires human correction: The old ARC record still includes a 10 October 2026 deadline from the superseded October edition. That date must not be interpreted as the revised January race's closing date. The current 2027 organiser page does not provide a verified final registration deadline, so its current live entry status should be checked at the registration portal. A new date has deliberately not been invented.

The event is scheduled for early morning, with marked routes and on-course aid advertised, but the precise Dwarka race start, turn-by-turn course, transport access and road closure plan remain subject to organiser instructions.
