Event Detail
The Kokrajhar NCC Marathon 2026 brings runners, National Cadet Corps (NCC) members and the broader community together in Kokrajhar, Assam, on Sunday 22 November 2026. Hosted by Kokrajhar NCC, the road-running event celebrates fitness, peace and the cultural heritage of Bodoland, with four RFID-timed distances from 5 km to the full marathon.
Distances, eligibility and cut-offs
- 42.195 km marathon: minimum age 18; seven-hour time limit.
- 21.0975 km half marathon: minimum age 18; three hours 30 minutes.
- 10 km road run: minimum age 14; 90-minute limit.
- 5 km road run: minimum age 14; one-hour limit.
Age is assessed as at 22 November 2026. Registration is restricted to Indian citizens who reside in India; international visitors and non-resident Indian citizens should not assume eligibility. Minors need parental or guardian consent.
Timing and course rules
All four distances use RFID bib timing. Official race rankings and awards are determined by gun time, while net/chip times are provided for runners' personal records. Competitors must pass all mandatory timing points, remain on the official route and meet each category's cut-off to qualify as finishers. Bib swapping, shortcuts and participating in a different category can lead to disqualification. The organiser publishes route diagrams for each distance, but runners should confirm the final starting venue, route and actual flag-off times in their participant instructions. The 00:00 calendar placeholder is not the advertised race start.
Registration and bib collection
The entry operator advertises Tuesday 17 November 2026 as the last registration date, or earlier if capacity fills. Registration fees are quoted before applicable taxes. Entries are non-refundable and non-transferable, and category changes are not permitted following confirmation. NCC cadets and staff attending SNIC-II should contact management instead of using the general registration form.
Race bib and kit collection is scheduled for Saturday 21 November. The 2026 collection venue and opening hours have not yet been announced on the current-edition entry page. Participants should collect their own bib with their registration confirmation and government-issued photo identification; age-restricted entrants may be asked to attend with a parent or guardian. Do not rely on February 2026 schedules visible on older organiser pages.
Awards and runner information
The organiser's published 2026 prize schedule advertises an aggregate INR 1,064,000 award pool across eligible marathon, half marathon, 10 km and 5 km categories, with separate provisions for qualifying NCC participants. All awards are subject to eligibility checks, verified results, documentation and applicable taxes. Each registration category advertises an event T-shirt, medal, timing chip and refreshments.
Check before travelling: exact gun times, reporting time, the confirmed start/finish compound, parking, bib-collection venue and any last-minute weather or traffic advice. Details and conditions are published by the event organiser and its 2026 registration partner.

Official 2026 bib/kit pickup: Saturday 21 November. Exact collection venue and hours still TBA. Collect personally with confirmation and valid government photo ID; minors may require guardian.
