Event Detail
The eighth Lucknow Run brings a half marathon and shorter community events to Uttar Pradesh's capital on Sunday 1 November 2026. Organised by The Centrum as “Humara Run, Lucknow Run”, the festival combines chip-timed road racing with untimed family-friendly distances. More than 3,000 participants are anticipated by the organiser, but final numbers have not been confirmed.
The race is based at GD Goenka Public School, Sector B, Sushant Golf City. The half marathon follows an out-and-back road course, turning around after about 10.5 km, while the 10K turns at about 5 km. The untimed 5K turns at 2.5 km and the untimed 3K walk at 1.5 km. The half marathon is scheduled to start at 5:45 am, with reporting at 5:15 am and a 3-hour-30-minute cut-off. The 10K has a 90-minute limit, but its exact start needs reconfirmation: the event's published schedule lists 5:45 am while the FAQ says 6 am. The 5K and 3K are scheduled for 7 am with reporting from 6:30 am.
The organiser sets a 14-year minimum for 21K and 10K participation. The race weekend includes bib and T-shirt collection on Friday 30 and Saturday 31 October, 11 am to 5 pm, at GD Goenka Public School. Runners should collect their shirt there rather than expect race-morning issue. The event advertises water stations approximately every 2 km, energy drinks, runner snacks, first aid, ambulance services, a baggage counter and changing areas. Medals and electronic participation or timing certificates are included among advertised entitlements, with chips for timed races.
Entries are advertised to close on 20 October, or earlier if places fill. Prizes are winners' trophies rather than cash. Participants should read up-to-date instructions from the organiser before travelling to the start, particularly the 10K flag-off, parking, access and collection requirements.
Registration and eligibility warning (checked 25 October 2026)
The organiser publishes 20 October 2026 as the last registration day, yet the linked BookMyRace page still labels categories Registration Open and lists later ticket-sale windows for some categories. Do not assume entry is guaranteed or universally closed: confirm live checkout and acceptance with the organiser before paying. Published 10K start times conflict (05:45 in the category schedule versus 06:00 in the FAQ), while the 3K minimum age is stated as both eight and five with a guardian. Check the final participant guide directly. Quoted entry fees are before any GST and processing charges.
