Event Detail
The third Sikar Marathon returns to Rajasthan's education city on Sunday 13 December 2026, combining a half marathon, 10K and 5K with the organiser's Clean Sikar, Healthy Sikar campaign. Led by Sikar Infotech, the event promotes fitness, community participation and lower-waste running. All three distances are advertised as RFID-timed, including the shortest Inspiration Run.
Courses and race morning
Races start and finish at Zila Stadium on Sanwali Road, Sikar. The organiser describes marked out-and-back courses with turnaround points, hydration stations, medical support, route marshals and security. Its distance-specific 2026 pages publish these local Indian Standard Time (IST) starts:
- 21.0975K Half Marathon: 05:00, with a three-hour cut-off at 08:00. Meet by 04:30.
- 10K Challenge Run: 05:30, with a 07:30 cut-off. Meet by 05:00.
- 5K Inspiration Run: 06:00, with a 07:30 cut-off. Meet by 05:30.
The general race-day information page displays a slightly later set of flag-off times than the individual distance pages. Confirm the final race-day schedule with the organiser before attending; the category cards here follow the detailed 2026 distance pages. Awards are scheduled from approximately 08:30, and the event concludes around 10:00.
Registration and eligibility
The organiser's current registration portal issues a confirmation/e-ticket following payment, with an RFID bib for the selected distance. The official published rules state a 20 November 2026 registration closing date, although a third-party race directory shows 30 November. The official closing date has been recorded; places could fill earlier. The official rules set a minimum age of 18 for the half marathon, but contradictory minimum ages for 5K and 10K appear across organiser pages (13, 16 or 18). Younger entrants should confirm eligibility directly before paying. Runners must provide accurate registration details and be medically prepared for their selected course.
Race-pack collection
The organiser schedules bib and kit collection for Saturday 12 December, 10:00-18:00 IST at Zila Stadium. Bring registration confirmation and photo identification. Proxy collection requires the runner's confirmation and ID copy. The dedicated bib-collection instructions say race-day distribution is unavailable, notwithstanding generic reporting text on individual distance pages. Organise collection on Saturday or contact the event team beforehand.
Running with a lighter footprint
The event advertises a plantable race bib, reusable bags, reduced-plastic drinking cups and a post-race breakfast. Participants are also offered a T-shirt, timed result, digital certificate, finisher medal, basic on-course refreshments and medical support. The organiser says top performers will be recognised, but prize amounts are not yet confirmed. Official updates and definitive eligibility rules are available through the organiser's website.
Race Pack Information
12 December 2026, 10:00–18:00 IST. Bring registration confirmation and a valid photo ID. Official bib-collection instructions say there is no race-day pickup; proxy collection needs the runner's confirmation and ID copy.
