Event Detail

Udaipur Marathon 2026 brings a city road-running programme to Rajasthan's historic City of Lakes on Sunday 15 November. Promoted by RunnerX LLP, the event is headed by a 21.1K half marathon and also offers a chip-timed 10K Classic, a chip-timed 5K and an untimed 3K Dream Run for families, children and newcomers. It is an on-ground race, distinct from the separately listed official Udaipur Marathon virtual challenge.

Start times and race formats

The half marathon is the premier distance, with a reported start time of approximately 4:30 am IST; organisers ask runners to report from 4:00 am. Its completion limit is three hours 30 minutes, and entrants must be at least 18 on race day. The 10K Classic is scheduled to start at approximately 5:00 am, subject to final confirmation, with a two-hour cutoff and a minimum age of 12. The 5K timed run has a 5:30 am flag-off, a one-hour 15-minute limit and a minimum age of 12. The accessible 3K Dream Run is non-timed, with a 7:30 am start, a minimum age of six and no previous running experience required.

The city and on-course support

Udaipur is known for its lakes, palaces and the surrounding Aravalli hills. The race is promoted as a chance to run through its urban streets and experience this distinctive heritage setting. However, the organisers have not yet confirmed the exact start/finish venue or published a verified final course map. Runners should not rely on an assumed lap around Fateh Sagar Lake or other landmark until the official route is released. Hydration stations, medical support and designated ambulance assistance are included in the organisers' race provisions.

Registration, bibs and results

The official race-category pages specify an entry closing time of 31 October 2026 at 11:59 pm IST (18:29 UTC), subject to earlier sell-out. As checked on 25 October, the official website advertises Phase 3 registration open. Its current fee tables list INR 1,900 (half marathon), 1,200 (10K), 1,000 (timed 5K) and 350 (3K Dream Run). The timed-race fee tables label the current phase through 30 October, while the registration information gives 31 October at 23:59 IST as the final deadline. Confirm the final payable amount and availability in RunnerX registration, especially for bookings after 30 October.

Child eligibility requires clarification: the organiser's 3K-specific page says the minimum age is 6, while its general event rules state 4. Families considering entry for children aged 4–5 should obtain written confirmation from RunnerX. The general rules require parental consent for all under-18 entrants and adult accompaniment for children under 12.

Physical entrants collect their race bib and event T-shirt at a pre-race Bib Expo, with the date and venue still to be announced. Bring a registration confirmation and government-issued photo identification. An authorised representative may collect a kit with the necessary identification and registration proof. Timed runners use RFID bib tags; runners who finish within the official limit are eligible for a timing e-certificate and finish-line medal. Provisional results will be issued after the race, with certificates expected via the timing partner within 21 days.

The map pin indicates central Udaipur only, not a confirmed start or finish venue. Wait for the organiser's final announcement before making transport or accommodation plans around a specific course.
