Event Detail
Road to Ubud Running Festival 2026 is a special, one-off 5K community run in central Ubud on Sunday 1 November 2026, rather than the regular FAR Ubud Sunday long run. The organiser's 28 October announcement invites runners from Ubud and Gianyar to run together, celebrate local running communities and enjoy a friendly morning ahead of the separate Ubud Running Festival later in November.
Meeting point and morning arrangements
Gather at Catus Pata, Ubud, for the advertised 6:15 am Bali time (WITA) start. This is the junction around central Ubud, close to Ubud Palace. The route and exact start-line position have not been published; the map pin is an approximate central-Ubud reference. Motorbike parking is advertised on Jalan Suweta. Importantly, there is no bag-drop service, so participants should avoid bringing valuables or arrange to carry their own belongings.
Community programme
The organiser says eight running communities from Ubud and Gianyar are joining this community session. The post mentions a door-prize draw for three free entries to the separate 21–22 November Ubud Running Festival, together with an on-the-spot 15% discount on that festival's registration. These are not evidence that the 1 November community run itself requires a festival ticket or includes a paid race package.
Entry clarification
The organiser has not published a separate registration link, entry fee, age restrictions, timing-chip arrangements or guaranteed participant entitlements for this 1 November session. Contact @far.ubud for attendance arrangements and the latest instructions. Do not use the separate main festival's ticket fees, registration deadlines or benefits for this community run.
