Bayan Run 2026

Bayan Run returns to Balikpapan for its fifth year, with the organiser describing it as the biggest running event in Kalimantan and an event aiming for an international-standard race experience.

The main adult race programme is held on Sunday, 11 October 2026 at Lapangan Merdeka III, covering Half Marathon, 10K, 5K Open and 5K Teen categories. The current public schedule lists an overall race start of 05:30 WITA; individual category wave times are not published in the official accessible schedule text, so ARC does not assign per-distance flag-off times.

A separate Kids Dash programme is held on Saturday, 10 October 2026 at BSCC Dome, with 2.5K and 800m races. Those kids distances are not attached to this ARC draft because the current ARC distance registry does not expose matching 2.5K or 800m options.

Official cut-offs are 3 hours 30 minutes for the Half Marathon, 2 hours for 10K and 1 hour for the 5K categories.
