BayRun for Charity 2026 - Jakarta

BayRun for Charity 2026 returns to Plaza Parkir Timur, Gelora Bung Karno, Jakarta, on Sunday 8 November 2026. Organised by PT Bayan Resources Tbk through its Bayan Peduli social-responsibility programme, the event combines family-friendly running with support for education in remote communities of East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) and Papua. This year's theme is Cahaya Pendidikan untuk Anak di Pelosok Negeri (bringing educational opportunity to children in remote areas).

Registration is SOLD OUT. The organiser's current FAQ marks normal-price registrations sold out; the precise final sell-out date is not stated, so no exact closing date is assumed. The three distances are 2K Family Run, 5K and 10K. All categories welcome Indonesian and international participants. For the 2K Family Run, children aged 6–12 must be accompanied by someone aged 17 or older; minimum ages are 12 for 5K and 17 for 10K.

How the run works

• This is an untimed-for-awards fun run with no podium prizes; lucky participants may win door prizes or a grand prize.
• Course cut-off limits: 2K Family, one hour; 5K, one hour; 10K, two hours.
• Organiser guidance places water stations at roughly 2 km intervals and ambulances at approximately 5 km intervals.
• Baggage drop is advertised from 04:00 to 10:00 WIB in the FAQ (another terms section says until 09:00, so confirm the final cut-off with organisers). Bring your bib and do not leave valuables.
• Official wave flag-off times have not yet been confirmed in the published FAQ. The calendar time is a date-only placeholder, not an official start time.

Race-pack collection and participant requirements

Race-pack collection is listed for Thursday 5 to Saturday 7 November, 10:00–20:00 WIB. The collection venue has not been specified on the current FAQ. There is no race-day collection; authorised representatives may collect with the required signed authority and identity documents. The 2K family entry provides two race packs, one for the child and one for the accompanying adult, with some shared benefits supplied only once. Race bibs may not be transferred or resold.
