Event Detail
Batu Ridge Run 2027 is scheduled for Sunday 9 May 2027 at Jambuluwuk Batu Resort in Kota Batu, East Java. The event's official account describes it as the successor to Songgoriti Ridge Run 2026. This is a rebranded annual event, not a separate race happening alongside the Songgoriti edition.
Three mountain-running distances
The organiser has announced 7 km, 15 km and 30 km options. These provide different levels of challenge on the mountainous terrain around Batu, an East Java highland city known for its ridge landscapes. As with any trail event, the distance alone does not indicate difficulty: runners should review the official GPX files, elevation profiles, terrain notes and compulsory equipment list when the organiser publishes them. Precise routes, elevation gain, checkpoints and cut-off times have not yet been independently confirmed for 2027.
Venue and race-day planning
The named event venue is Jambuluwuk Batu Resort, rather than an unspecified city-centre start. Travellers should plan transport to the resort and confirm where participants will collect bibs and any mandatory equipment checks. The official announcement does not yet specify flag-off times, shuttle arrangements or packet-collection hours; these should not be inferred from the previous edition.
Entering the event
In its 9 October 2026 announcement, the organiser said early-bird registration was coming soon. Registration availability, current entry prices, inclusions and deadlines should be checked on the linked registration platform or the race's official Instagram account before booking travel. The date and distances are confirmed by the event account, while remaining logistical details may be updated as race weekend approaches.
