Event Detail
RUN for HOPE by ECOFEST 2026 is a community 5K morning fun run at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang on Saturday 31 October 2026. Run by the Student Executive Council of its Faculty of Economics, the event combines physical activity, music and a book-donation initiative for schools in need.
The 5K event
Students, runners, families and the wider public can participate in a 5K fun-run programme. The official ticketing page advertises snacks and coffee, refreshments, DJ and jamming entertainment, and Best Outfit reward opportunities for male and female participants. An education-focused social programme helps distribute donated books to schools. No finisher medal, jersey, chip timing, race bib or cut-off time is confirmed, so these must not be assumed.
Entry options
The official Eratix event page advertises a Regular entry for IDR 35,000 and a 5K plus ECOFEST concert bundle for IDR 45,000, excluding ticket-platform fees. Both include the 5K and the normal benefits; only the higher-priced bundle includes concert admission. The ticket details do not establish that the concert takes place on the same date as the run. Confirm the concert programme, ticket availability and final checkout amount before purchase.
Venue and race-day timing
Eratix confirms UIN Malang as the event location. The Faculty of Economics is based at the university's Campus 1, Jalan Gajayana 50, which is the approximate map reference. The exact race assembly area, start/finish gate and course remain unconfirmed. The organiser advertises a morning 5K, without a precise flag-off. Follow @ecofestverse for confirmed logistics and any changes.
Ticket exchange and terms
The purchaser's Eratix e-ticket and identification must be presented when collecting the physical admission wristband. The organiser says the date and collection point will be announced separately through Instagram. Do not share your barcode, and check ticket conditions carefully: purchases are generally non-refundable, with an organiser-managed refund policy if the event is cancelled. Contact persons Veri and Simon are named in the official ticketing rules.
