Soekarno Run Blitar 2026

Soekarno Run 2026 Blitar Series takes place on Sunday, 8 November 2026, at Istana Gebang in Kota Blitar, East Java. The organiser's own Gelarin ticketing page confirms this venue and three regular-price entry categories: a 5K for general and masters runners, a separate 5K student category, and a 10K for general and masters runners. This is the Blitar edition, not a listing for a different Soekarno Run location.

A run in Blitar's historic setting

Istana Gebang, on Jalan Sultan Agung in Sananwetan, is the preserved family home associated with Indonesia's first president, Sukarno. Its setting gives the event a recognisable connection to Blitar's history. The organiser's venue listing identifies the palace precinct, but does not yet provide a verified 2026 course map, exact starting pen, or evidence of which streets each distance will follow. Runners should follow the final instructions rather than assume the race passes any particular monument.

Participation and registration

The official registration partner identifies three regular-price options: 5K General/Master, 5K Student and 10K General/Master. Each is advertised with a race jersey, medal, bib with timing chip, digital certificate, photo-tagging, goodie bag, sponsor products, water stations, refreshments, a door-prize opportunity and entertainment. The separate early-bird options were labelled sold out when the ticket page was indexed; entry availability and checkout prices can change, so always confirm the live selection before payment.

The registration listing names Patria Race Management as the organiser. Use the direct Gelarin registration page for the ticket terms and follow the organiser's own announcements for participant instructions. The 5K student class should be selected only by eligible students under the organiser's requirements; proof-of-status requirements have not been independently confirmed.

Race-day planning

The 2026 flag-off times, cut-offs, registration deadline, race-pack collection date and location, detailed route and award rules have not been independently confirmed. A 06:00 WIB time appeared in ARC's older imported record, but is an unverified calendar placeholder, not an official gun-time announcement. Plan to arrive early once the organiser releases the final schedule. As a road-running event in tropical East Java, carry suitable hydration for warm and humid conditions, follow marshals' instructions and avoid travel arrangements that depend on an unannounced start time.
