PWI Health Fun Run 5K Mandeh 2026 - Pesisir Selatan

PWI Health Fun Run 5K Mandeh 2026 takes runners to the coastal Mandeh tourism area in Pesisir Selatan Regency, West Sumatra, on Saturday 7 November 2026. The event is promoted under the theme Sehat Bersama untuk Pesisir Selatan Lebih Maju (Healthy Together for a More Advanced Pesisir Selatan). It is an initiative of the Indonesian Journalists Association (PWI), Pesisir Selatan branch, working with the local tourism, culture, youth and sports department and district government. The five-kilometre Mandeh route

The organiser's route, confirmed by the district government on 6 October, starts at the Amphitheatre at Pantai Paku, Sungai Nyalo Mudiak Aia, heads towards the Rumah Gadang Mandeh area, and returns to the amphitheatre for the finish. Participants are expected from West Sumatra, Riau, Jambi and Bengkulu, alongside local organisations and running communities.

Entry and what to expect

PWI Pesisir Selatan chairman Robby Octora Romanza told local press on 9 October 2026 that the advertised 5K entry fee was IDR 150,000, including an event jersey and a medal for successful finishers. The organiser also promoted door prizes worth tens of millions of rupiah, subject to winner selection and official conditions; a prize is not guaranteed for every runner. The committee stated 22 October 2026 as its final registration date, which has now passed. Do not assume the registration form remains open.
