Trail of The Kings - Lake Toba by UTMB 2027

Trail of The Kings - Lake Toba by UTMB returns to Samosir Island, North Sumatra, for an international UTMB World Series weekend through volcanic-caldera landscapes, Batak cultural heritage, forest trails and lakeside views.

• Friday 11 June: expo and race-pack collection for 100K, 60K and 28K, 10:00-21:00 at Waterfront City Pangururan (5th Segment).
• Saturday 12 June: Caldera Crown 100K at 03:00 (30-hour cut-off); Ultimate Expedition 60K at 06:00 (20-hour cut-off); King's Ascent 28K at 07:00 (9-hour cut-off).
• Sunday 13 June: Legacy Dash shorter race and kids race; kids at 07:00.

Registration: UTMB Index priority opens 27 October 2026; general entries open 29 October 2026. Fees and closing date not yet published.

Organiser discrepancies needing confirmation: The 2027 homepage and Legacy Dash page call the short race 17K, but the entry-information page calls it 16K and the event schedule 10K. The short race is not assigned an uncertain distance ID. The dedicated course pages also list measured distances different from marketed race names (100K: 101.19km, 60K: 64.03km, 28K: 23.6km). The confirmed 60K race is described here, but ARC's active distance reference list does not expose its ID (creating 60K returned an existing-slug conflict). Coordinates approximate Waterfront City Pangururan, not a surveyed start-line position. All times and routes are subject to organiser updates.
