WateRun Padang 2026

WateRun Padang 2026 is a community road run organised by Perumda Air Minum Kota Padang with Karambia Runners on Sunday, 27 December 2026. Part of the water utility's 52nd anniversary, it combines healthy living with awareness of water conservation under the theme Run for Better Health, Save Water for Better Life.

Official distance and coastal course

The organiser advertises a 5.2-kilometre course at Danau Cimpago / Taplau (Pantai Padang) in Purus, West Sumatra. ARC's 5K filter is an approximation; this is NOT a 5.0K race. The organiser's launch announcement described a coastal route around Pantai Purus towards Ocean Beach, but the final route and traffic arrangements are unverified. The map pin indicates the Danau Cimpago area, not the exact start line.

Race-day timing

The organiser's EZTIX booking shows 23:00 UTC on 26 December, equivalent to 06:00 WIB on 27 December, as its event-time marker. The exact 5.2K flag-off is not independently confirmed. Check the organiser's final runner guide for assembly, race start, cut-off and transport restrictions.

Tickets and participation

Official EZTIX entry costs IDR 200,000, excluding any additional processing charges. The ticket advertises a race jersey, bib, finisher medal, water stations, refreshments, medical support, event photography, door prizes and podium awards. Prizes are not guaranteed to every entrant and must follow organiser rules. An exact registration deadline, real-time ticket stock, race-pack pickup details, participant eligibility rules and final course map are not independently confirmed, so verify before payment.

The official EZTIX registration page and organiser @waterun.2026 provide updates. Padang City Government independently announced the date and conservation theme in September.
