Event Detail
Yokosuka's 51st seaside running festival returns on Sunday 22 November 2026, offering a half marathon, 10K, 3K and 1.8K. It is a longstanding Kanagawa road-running fixture with capacity for 6,000 entrants, including 1,600 half-marathon places. The half-marathon course is certified by Japan's athletics federation and follows the coast towards Kannonzaki Bridge, giving runners views of Tokyo Bay.
The half marathon begins at 8:45 am, followed by 10K at 9:30 am, 3K at 10:10 am and 1.8K at 10:55 am. Time limits are 150, 105, 25 and 20 minutes respectively. The 1.8K includes family pairs, four-person teams and a new two-person pair event. Because ARC has no 1.8K selector, this programme is described here without mislabelling it 2K.
Official general registration closed on 27 September 2026, and the half-marathon allocation filled earlier. The organiser says participants receive advance-posted number cards and instructions, while finishers can download certificates online. The event headquarters is Ichigo Yokosuka Port Market in Shinkocho. Organisers recommend public transport: Yokosuka-Chuo and Shioiri stations are each about a 15-minute walk away. No dedicated race parking is available. Consult the official site for final transport and race-day updates.
