Run & Bubble 2.0

Run & Bubble 2.0 is a bubble-themed, campus-based 5 km fun run at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Permatang Pauh, on mainland Penang. The event returns for a second edition on Saturday 28 November 2026, with a stated capacity of 1,000 participants. It is designed as a sociable running day rather than a published championship race, with activities around the campus venue as well as the run itself.

Event day and venue

The organiser's illustrated 2026 flyer gives a programme window of 7:00 am to 12:30 pm, while the Howei registration listing shows 8:00 am as the event time. These may refer to gathering and programme timings rather than a confirmed 5 km flag-off. Participants should confirm the exact start and check-in time with the organiser before travelling. The named venue is Dewan Besar UiTM Cawangan Pulau Pinang, Kampus Permatang Pauh, on the mainland side of Penang. The published map pin identifies the hall, but the exact start line and 5 km route have not been released.

What to expect

The current-edition poster advertises club and society booths, interactive activities and a food festival alongside the run. It also promotes a lucky draw, with a separate official graphic showing prizes including an electric scooter, a Redmi tablet, a badminton racket, speakers, a printer, a watch and headphones. Prize availability and eligibility are subject to organiser arrangements.

The organiser advertises RM48 general admission and a RM40 UiTM student/staff rate, with registration closing on 24 October 2026. Participants are shown an event shirt, bib, finisher medal and e-certificate; the flyer also mentions e-merit, which may be relevant to eligible students. The Howei page includes a shirt size guide. Race-pack collection dates, the precise course, cut-offs and any timing arrangements have not been confirmed, so runners should check official updates before race day.
