Borneo Ultra-Trail Marathon 2022 returned to rural Kiulu on 19–20 March after its pandemic interruption. Sabah Tourism Board and contemporary reporting confirmed around 700 Malaysian and international participants. The main 100K-category course started at 5:00 am on Saturday, followed by 50K at 7:00 am; 30K and 9K routes followed on Sunday. ITRA measures the flagship long route at approximately 106K, so it is not falsely tagged as a 100K race. The 9K category likewise lacks an exact ARC tag.
