The Great Malaya Trail 2026 returned on 21–23 August 2026 for its third edition, bringing endurance runners into the forested Kemensah–Janda Baik mountain corridor. Its programme ran from a 5K fun run to demanding 100K and 60K ultras.

Official 2026 distances and course difficulty

100K: 3:00 am Saturday start, 32-hour cut-off and approximately 6,200 metres of elevation gain.

60K: 3:00 am Saturday start, 24-hour cut-off and approximately 3,284 metres of gain.

25K: 7:00 am Saturday start, 14-hour cut-off and approximately 1,557 metres of gain.

15K: 7:00 am Sunday start, four-hour cut-off and approximately 500 metres of gain.

10K: 7:30 am Sunday start, three-hour cut-off and approximately 300 metres of gain.

5K fun run: 8:00 am Sunday start, two-hour cut-off and approximately 200 metres of gain.

These were organiser-estimated elevations; actual GPS tracks may differ. The long categories offered open, veteran and duo options.

Results and event integrity

The organiser's event guide describes electronic and manual checkpoint timing and a post-race result-review procedure. However, no independent complete 2026 podium list was confirmed in this research; individual winners are not invented.
