2026 Garmin Run Marathon Series - Philippines

The 2026 Garmin Run Marathon Series Philippines brings Garmin’s international road-running circuit back to Metro Manila on 25 October, with 21K, 10K and 5K races based at the SM Mall of Asia Complex in Pasay City. The Philippine event forms part of Garmin’s wider series across major running communities in Asia and the United States, giving local runners a place in the same multi-city programme as events in Singapore, Malaysia, Korea, Taipei, Thailand, Hong Kong and Japan.

Race morning is staged in waves before sunrise. The 21K starts at 03:00, the 10K at 04:30 and the 5K at 05:30, with all three categories closing at 07:00. The organiser’s current FAQ also confirms timing chips across every distance. Garmin positions the event for a broad field, from first-time 5K runners through to experienced half-marathon runners looking for a measured race effort.

Current registration is close to capacity. Garmin Philippines announced on 29 September that the 21K and 5K were sold out, leaving the 10K as the final available distance, while a separate current organiser post states registration closes on 30 September. Runners should therefore check the live registration portal rather than assume places remain available.

The current official route page still marks the detailed 5K, 10K and 21K course maps as “coming soon”, so no unverified course description has been added here. The event is supported by MYLAPS timing, and registered runners have also been able to join Garmin Run Club’s “Baseline to Finish Line” training programme in the build-up.

The Philippine leg counts towards Garmin’s long-running Marathon Series challenge. Under the published series mechanics, runners who complete any 10 qualifying races across the 13 participating cities between 2022 and 2027 can apply for the limited-edition personalised 18K gold-plated series medal, subject to Garmin’s completion-verification requirements.
