Home Credit Takbo #ParaSaLife Manila 2027

Home Credit Takbo #ParaSaLife returns to Metro Manila on Sunday 17 January 2027, bringing a community road-running morning to the SM Mall of Asia Complex in Pasay City. Organised by RUNRIO for Home Credit Philippines, the series encourages participants to connect physical activity with broader personal well-being. Its 2026 Manila and Cebu editions attracted more than 6,400 runners combined; the organiser has announced Manila and Davao legs for 2027.

Race distances and eligibility

The official 2027 programme offers 16 km, 10 km, 5 km and 3 km, with options for experienced runners and people looking for a shorter morning outing. Participants must be 18 or older for 16K, 13 or older for 10K, and at least five for 5K or 3K. Anyone under 18 needs parental or guardian consent. The 16K is a genuine event category even though the ARC distance-filter list does not currently offer a 16K option; please consult the organiser's registration materials rather than mistaking it for 15K.

Race-day practicalities

The organiser's registration page lists 3:00 am Philippine time as the event start; individual category flag-off times should be checked against the final race-day guide rather than assumed to be 3:00 am. Every distance starts within the SM MOA Complex. Runners must enter their starting corral on time and start within 15 minutes of their own gun time. Race bibs contain timing chips; official participant times are chip-timed, while top finishers are ranked on gun time.

The race rules state that water stations, route marshals, medical assistance and category-specific baggage tents will be provided. Walkers are allowed but should keep right. The organiser says an ambulance will begin sweeping the course from 7:00 am, with remaining runners taken to the finish and excluded from official results. Closed roads are expected near the route, so check announcements before arranging transport or parking, which is still to be confirmed.

Entries and collection

Registration is handled through the official Race Roster page, which also provides an access-code option. Participants should verify their category's current availability, fee and any processing or delivery charges there. Confirmed payment options include GCash, bank transfer and credit card. Entries are non-refundable and non-transferable, and category changes are not permitted. Race kits missed during the designated collection period can be claimed at the event venue on race morning.

According to the organiser's 2027 FAQs, successful 16K finishers receive a shirt, medal, towel, socks and tote bag; 10K finishers receive a medal, towel, socks and tote bag; and 5K/3K finishers receive a medal, socks and tote bag. Check the final organiser notices for kit-claiming times, category starts, road closures and any updated rules.
