2026 Incheon Marathon

The 2026 Incheon Marathon is the second edition of Incheon's internationally certified full-marathon event, co-hosted by Incheon Metropolitan City and the Korea Athletics Federation. The race has expanded to a 20,000-runner field, with 8,000 places in the marathon, 10,000 in the 10K and 2,000 in the 5K.

The full marathon uses a point-to-point course. Runners start near Unseo Station in Yeongjong-gu, head across the new Cheongna Haneul Bridge with views over the West Sea and Incheon skyline, and finish at Incheon Asiad Main Stadium. The 10K and 5K start and finish at the stadium. All three events are scheduled on Sunday, 22 November, with the published race start at 08:00 KST and a 06:30 assembly time.

The marathon has a strict five-hour limit, while the 10K limit is 1 hour 30 minutes and the 5K limit is one hour. Marathon entrants must also prove recent running ability by 19 October: either a full marathon under 5:00:00 or a half marathon under 2:10:00 from an eligible race held between 1 January 2024 and 19 October 2026. Timing for the marathon and 10K uses net time from the start mat; the 5K does not receive a timing chip or official time certificate.

Course support includes sports drink and water stations. Full-marathon drink stations are planned every 5 km, with sponge stations every 5 km after 7.5 km; the 10K has one drink station. Organisers also plan calorie-replacement food such as energy gels or bars, medical support, changing areas and baggage storage. Marathon baggage left at the Unseo start is transported to the Asiad Stadium finish.

Race materials are sent domestically before race week. Overseas runners are instructed to collect their bib and participant items from the information booth on race day. The original first-come entry allocation is currently sold out; the organiser says any additional entry opportunity will be announced separately.
