Event Detail
The 20th Yangsan National Half Marathon is scheduled for Sunday, 6 December 2026 at Yangsan Sports Complex in Gyeongsangnam-do, South Korea. The long-established city race is organised by Yangsan City Sports Council with the Yangsan Athletics Federation and has a published capacity of 8,000 runners.
Race programme
The event offers three road-running distances: a 21.0975 km half marathon, 10 km and 5 km. The half marathon has 3,000 places, the 10K has 3,500, and the 5K has 1,500. Runners are asked to assemble from 08:00, with the published start at 09:00 Korea Standard Time. Individual category wave times have not been confirmed.
Course and setting
The race venue is Yangsan Sports Complex, 849 Yangsan-daero, north of Busan. Previous editions have been associated with the Yangsan Stream and Hwangsan Park riverside scenery, but the 2026 course maps have not been independently verified. Runners should check the final routes and any road-closure information before making travel plans.
Registration and practical information
Entry fees were announced as KRW 45,000 for the half marathon and 10K, and KRW 30,000 for the 5K. Although earlier registration materials advertised later closing dates, all three allocations were reported fully subscribed by 3 October 2026. No additional registration round has been confirmed.
The organiser has not yet provided verifiable final details for race-pack collection, cut-off times, on-course support, prizes or finisher entitlements. Participants should rely on updated instructions from the official race website rather than previous editions' arrangements. Travelling runners should also allow time to reach the sports complex before the morning assembly and prepare for potentially cold December conditions in southeastern Korea.
