ROUND LAB RUN Chuncheon 2026

The 2026 ROUND LAB RUN brings runners to Chuncheon, the lakeside capital of Gangwon Province, for an autumn road-running festival organised by skincare brand ROUND LAB and regional newspaper Kangwon Ilbo. The 2026 event is supported by Chuncheon City, with places capped at 5,000 participants across its three distances. Its setting near Lake Uiam offers a distinctive contrast between the city's sports facilities, riverside roads and wooded mountains.

Race morning and courses

Participants are asked to assemble at Songam Sports Town Main Stadium by 8:00 am, ahead of a 9:00 am race start. The organiser lists the starting order as half marathon, 10K and 5K. The half-marathon course has a three-hour completion limit, while the shorter courses have two-hour limits. The organiser has published separate course maps for each distance; runners should consult those maps for the exact route and turnaround points rather than assuming all races follow the same lakeside circuit.

Getting to the venue

The event provides travel guidance for arrivals from Chuncheon Station, Namchuncheon Station and Chuncheon Intercity Bus Terminal. A shuttle-bus service and several designated car parks are shown in the official transport guide. Parking availability and traffic-control arrangements may change, so runners should confirm the latest instructions before leaving for the stadium and allow extra time to arrive before the briefing.

Registration and preparation

Entry was advertised to open on 7 August 2026, with registration offered on a first-come basis until the entry cap is reached. The event website does not guarantee that places remain available; check the official registration portal for current availability. Registered runners should also review the organiser's instructions about timing chips, bibs, race-pack delivery, prohibited transfers and refund conditions. Bring the official bib and timing chip: the race terms state that a lost or forgotten chip cannot be reissued at the venue.
