Danang International Marathon 2027

The Danang International Marathon returns on Sunday, 21 March 2027, bringing its established international road-racing programme back to East Sea Park on Vo Nguyen Giap Street. Organised by Pulse Active, it is one of Vietnam's best-known destination marathons, combining a major city race with Da Nang's beachfront and riverside setting.

Race morning begins before sunrise. The 42.195K marathon starts at 3:00 AM, followed by the half marathon at 4:30 AM and the 10K at 5:30 AM. The marathon has a seven-hour limit, the half marathon four hours and the 10K two hours 30 minutes. The marathon and half marathon also use intermediate cut-off points so roads can reopen safely.

The published 2027 course information places the start and finish at East Sea Park. Aid stations are positioned approximately every two kilometres and provide water, electrolyte drinks, fruit and medical support, with refill containers available for runners carrying their own hydration. Medical stations are positioned around the course, while runners who withdraw can report to an aid station for transport back to the event area after shuttle operations begin.

Race weekend includes an expo and race-kit collection at East Sea Park on Friday 19 March and Saturday 20 March. There is no race-morning kit collection. Runners receive bib information and a collection QR code by email, and the bib incorporates the timing chip. Bag drop operates at East Sea Park from 2:00 AM to 10:00 AM on race day, subject to capacity.

The event has a strong destination character, giving visiting runners an opportunity to combine the marathon weekend with Da Nang's beaches and nearby cultural attractions.
