The Altra Motiv FLX is a neutral road-running shoe designed for accessible daily kilometres, run-club sessions and walking. Its medium cushioning and flexible construction make it more of an everyday trainer than a specialist race-day option. The Altra FootShape Standard fit gives the toes space to move while keeping the midfoot comparatively secure.
Altra specifies a SmoothStride midsole made from moulded EVA foam, an elevated sockliner and a rubber outsole for wear resistance on paved surfaces. The 28 mm heel and 24 mm forefoot heights create a 4 mm heel-to-toe drop, rather than the zero-drop geometry found in some other Altra shoes.
