The Black Diamond Distance LT 1100 is a compact rechargeable headlamp designed for trail running, ultras and other fast-moving endurance activities after dark. Its PowerTap control provides a temporary 1,100-lumen boost for long-range viewing, automatically stepping down after 10 seconds to conserve power. Black Diamond specifies a maximum beam distance of 125 m and a total weight of 108 g with the battery.
A low-profile suspended headband and pivoting light engine keep the 2,200 mAh lithium-ion battery close to the head to reduce movement while running. The battery is removable, replaceable and charges by USB-C. A multifaceted optical lens combines depth lighting with a broader diffuse beam, while RGB LEDs add colour modes. The housing carries an IP67 dustproof and waterproof rating, including immersion to one metre for 30 minutes.
Maximum-setting runtime at 600 lumens is rated at 4.25 hours, with up to 120 hours on low. The US$149.95 regular price and specifications were checked on Black Diamond's official US page on 23 October 2026.
