Event Detail
Hyderabad City Slam – 21.1K Winter Run 2027 includes a virtual participation option for runners in India who live outside Hyderabad. It is separate from the physical Hyderabad race on 3 January.
Virtual participation window
Complete the selected 5 km, 10 km or 21.1 km between 00:00 on 2 January and 23:59 on 4 January 2027. Participants choose their own safe route and track the activity using a GPS-enabled device or app such as Strava, Garmin, COROS or Nike Run Club.
The organiser's current terms specify that the virtual category is only for participants residing in India and strictly outside Hyderabad.
Registration status
The current organiser page says virtual registrations are opening soon. ARC therefore records this as an advance listing and does not invent a registration closing date or fee. Final payable amounts, platform charges and any GST should be checked when registration opens.
Results and benefits
The current public terms explain the GPS-tracking requirement but do not yet expose a complete virtual-specific entitlement list, shipping timetable or award structure. Physical-race bib collection and race-day benefits are not copied into this virtual listing.
Credibility
The event is published on iFinish under Hyderabad City Slam with RunnerX LLP identified as organiser. The virtual rules are part of the current event terms rather than a third-party calendar summary. This provides a reasonable organiser/platform trail, but ARC has not tested payment or fulfilment.
What's Included
- Virtual 5K, 10K or 21.1K participation
- GPS-tracked completion via supported running app/device
- Current public page does not yet expose a verified virtual-specific medal/shirt/shipping package, so no entitlement is invented
