Kangar City Half Marathon 2026

Kangar City Half Marathon 2026 returns to Perlis on 23 and 24 October for a two-day city road-running programme organised by Northern Runners Resources. The current edition follows the previous Kangar City Half Marathon and combines a Friday evening kids race with an early-morning half marathon, 10K city run and 5K fun run on Saturday.

The 1K Kids Dash starts at 6:30 pm on Friday, 23 October and has a 30-minute cut-off. Racing resumes before dawn on Saturday, 24 October, when the 21K Half Marathon starts at 2:30 am with a four-hour limit. The 10K City Run follows at 4:00 am with 2.5 hours available, while the 5K Fun Run starts at 7:30 am and closes at 9:00 am. This staggered format gives the event both a competitive endurance component and shorter family-friendly participation.

Current organiser artwork confirms a dedicated 2026 event tee across the 1K, 5K, 10K and 21K programme, plus a separate 21K finisher tee and 21K finisher medal. The organiser has not yet exposed a current text-readable route map, exact start/finish point within Kangar, race-pack collection schedule or prize table in the accessible 2026 material, so those details have not been inferred from the 2025 edition.

The live Howei page currently advertises registration as open and lists an overall fee range of RM35 to RM99, but it also displays a 23 September date in its registration field. Because that information is internally inconsistent and the per-distance price table is not exposed safely in current text, ARC does not store a registration deadline or structured fee cards. Runners should use the live organiser and registration pages for the latest entry status and race-week instructions.
