Event Detail
PUMA Nitro Night Run 2026 returns to Putrajaya on Saturday, 24 October 2026, with 5K, 10K and half-marathon races based at Dataran Putrajaya. The official 2026 event site lists all three categories for an 8:00 pm MYT start and says the night-run series has previously drawn more than 13,000 runners. Organised by PUMA, the event is positioned as a performance-focused evening road race rather than a small community fun run, with the half marathon providing the headline distance.
The 21.1K course has additional significance because the PUMA Nitro Night Run half-marathon course in Putrajaya appears on World Athletics’ current list of certified standard-distance road races as Competition Rule 31.21 compliant, with the course certification valid through 2028. That gives runners an independently verified indication that the headline distance has been formally measured to international road-racing standards.
Dataran Putrajaya is in Precinct 3 on Persiaran Perdana, the central ceremonial boulevard of Malaysia’s administrative capital. Putrajaya Corporation describes the square as a principal venue for major public events, making it a natural hub for a large evening race. The night format also distinguishes the event from the many early-morning Malaysian road races, with the official site currently presenting 5K, 10K and 21K registration from the same event page.
At the time of ARC verification, the official 2026 website confirms the event date, venue, three race distances and 8:00 pm listed start time, but does not expose a reliable text-readable fee table, category cut-offs, prize schedule or race-pack collection timetable. Those fields are therefore intentionally left unset rather than inferred from previous editions. Runners should use the current official event page for the latest registration and participant instructions as race day approaches.
