Event Detail
MyCity RUN 2026 is a Petaling Jaya road-running event based at Laman MBPJ on Saturday, 31 October 2026. The programme offers a 10K run together with 5K and 3K fun-run categories, giving participants a choice between a longer city race and shorter community-focused distances.
The current organiser and registration material lists the overall event window as 6:30am to 11:00am MYT. The 10K is scheduled to flag off at 7:00am, followed by the 5K and 3K at 7:30am. Registration opened on 11 September and is scheduled to close at 11:59pm MYT on 25 October, subject to availability. Published entry fees, before applicable administration charges, are RM50 for the 10K and RM40 for both the 5K and 3K.
The registration terms name the Malaysian Institute of Planners, PLANMalaysia, Majlis Bandaraya Petaling Jaya, Lembaga Perancang Bandar Malaysia and Kelab Olahraga Alpha as the event holders or organising parties. Current official event material also publishes event-shirt and medal artwork.
Laman MBPJ is an urban public space in central Petaling Jaya near Jalan Yong Shook Lin. A final course route, distance cut-offs, prize schedule and race-pack collection date, time and venue are not stated in the current text-based organiser material, so runners should check the live registration page for race-week updates rather than rely on assumptions.
