Event Detail
Run2gather's Challenge 2026 combines an annual running target with an optional camera-tracked fitness challenge. The Hong Kong-organised programme welcomes participants worldwide. Its 2,026 km target is accumulated across the year, not a continuous ultramarathon or a prescribed distance to complete in the remaining weeks.
Recording activity
Upload eligible running records to your Run2gather activity account using the organiser's approved recording methods. Multiple sessions count towards the annual total, and records may be checked. Late entrants should confirm whether activity recorded earlier in 2026, before enrolment, can be credited; retrospective acceptance has not been verified.
The alternative fitness programme totals 2,026 repetitions across six demonstrated movements, including jumping jacks, squats, lunges, high knees, side stretches and standing side crunches. Follow the platform's movement allocation and counting instructions. The organiser says its camera analysis runs on the participant's device rather than uploading video; that privacy statement has not been independently tested.
Deadlines requiring attention
Registration closes at 23:59 Hong Kong time on 1 December 2026. Records must be uploaded by 23:59 on 1 January 2027. The numbered completion rule and event directory use 31 December, but the overview table ends activity on 30 December. Finish by the earlier date unless Run2gather confirms otherwise. The extra upload period is not permission to record new January activity.
Optional purchases
Free entry does not include a physical trophy or shirt. Completing either the running or fitness programme qualifies an entrant who also purchases the trophy for its silver version; completing both qualifies for gold. The trophy costs HK$200 when ordered with registration or HK$250 if purchased later. The event's Perseverance T-shirt or singlet costs HK$150 with registration or HK$180 later. Confirm eligibility, sizes and final delivery costs before ordering.
Race Pack Information
No free physical race pack is promised. Optional trophy and clothing can be collected free of delivery charges or sent by SF Express with freight payable by the recipient. Confirm the collection window, delivery destination and final costs before purchase. Overseas participation is welcomed, but international delivery coverage and dispatch dates remain unverified.
