Sihanoukville International Half Marathon 2027

Sihanoukville International Half Marathon returns to Cambodia's southern coast on Sunday, 28 March 2027 for its 12th edition. The event was established in 2012 and is a full member race of AIMS. Its organising mission combines road running with environmental awareness and charitable support.

All four races start and finish at Ochheuteal Beach. The 21K half marathon begins at 05:10 and has a four-hour limit, followed by the 10K at 05:20 with a two-hour limit, the 5K at 05:30 with a one-hour limit, and the 3K fun run at 05:40 with a 45-minute limit. The early schedule puts most running before the hottest part of the Cambodian day.

The organiser describes a rolling course with repeated small climbs and descents, passing beach areas including Victory Beach, Sokha Beach and Serendipity Beach as well as sections through the city. Experienced runners are warned that the terrain can add roughly 15 to 20 minutes compared with performance on a flatter course. Water and electrolyte stations are planned at approximately 2 km intervals. Timing checkpoints are used at the 21K and 10K turnarounds, kilometre markers are placed along the route, and medical support includes first-aid teams, an ambulance following the race and mobile event staff.

Race-pack collection is scheduled at Ochheuteal Beach on Friday 26 and Saturday 27 March from 09:00 to 18:00. Runners should bring their registration confirmation. Collection by an authorised representative is allowed with written authorisation and the runner's confirmation documents. Limited last-minute registration may also be available at the collection area.

The organiser advises participants to reach the start at least 30 minutes before their race. Ochheuteal Beach is about 15 minutes by tuk-tuk from central Sihanoukville.
