The Guizhou Wanfenglin Half Marathon 2026 (2026贵州万峰林半程马拉松) returns to the spectacular karst landscape of Xingyi, Qianxinan Prefecture, on Sunday 22 November 2026. The current-edition organiser announcement identifies a 21.0975 km men's and women's half marathon, a field of 4,000 participants, and an 08:30 China Standard Time (UTC+8) start. The advertised race programme runs until approximately 11:30, although runners must follow any officially issued individual cut-offs.
Confirmed 2026 course and meeting points
The start is at Sunshine Valley Tourist Resort (阳光谷旅游度假区) and the finish is at Minzu Wenhuayuan (民族文化源). These are different places, so do not assume that finish-line baggage, return transport or parking arrangements mirror a loop course. The announced route passes Mushroom Hotel, Sunshine Bonsai Garden, Wanfenglin Southwest Square, Jiangjun Bridge, Shangnahui Village, Xianahui Village and the Fu Character Field, ending at Minzu Wenhuayuan. The route showcases limestone peaks, farmland and Bouyei village scenery. Confirm final route measurement, access and any adjustments in the organiser's race-week guidance.
The published programme describes a China Athletics Association B-class event. Starting corrals are allocated by qualifying half-marathon performance recorded since 1 January 2025 in recognised B-class-or-higher events, where an eligible result is available.
Registration, entry fee and documentation
Registration is advertised from 15 October at 10:00 until 30 October 2026 at 18:00 China time, subject to official capacity and confirmation. The advertised entry fee is CNY 120. If registrations exceed the 4,000-place limit, the organiser plans to allocate places by ballot. Check the official organiser-approved registration partner before paying, rather than treating a social post or an unofficial checkout as proof of an available entry.
Entrants are instructed to upload:
- A medical examination report dated 1 October 2025 or later.
- Results for two races of at least 10 km within the advertised qualification window, described as 1 October 2024 to 1 October 2026.
The announcement offers direct qualification to eligible holders of the Wanfenglin wellness tourism benefit card and runners who placed in the top 20 men or women in a previous Wanfenglin event. Verify eligibility and acceptable supporting documents with the race operator.
Before travelling
This is the November 2026 half marathon, not the separate 15 March 2026 Wanfenglin Marathon. Its detailed schedule, start, finish, route, fee and registration deadline have now been confirmed by a 15 October current-edition announcement, rather than inferred from the March event. Race-pack collection dates, precise course cut-offs, final medical rules, shuttle provision, bag-return procedures and participant inclusions have not yet been independently confirmed. The map marker currently indicates the wider Xingyi area, not the verified Sunshine Valley start line.
