Event Detail
The Yangxian 100 Trail Challenge returns to Yixing, Jiangsu, for 7–8 November 2026. The event is organised with Wuxi municipal support and operated by Wuxi Huipao Sports. For this edition, the race headquarters, runner check-in and start/finish are at Yaohu Town International Convention and Exhibition Centre. Courses explore the Yangxian Ecotourism Resort, where runners encounter bamboo forests, tea plantations, villages, stone steps and hilly mountain paths.
The three advertised race options are Dragon Kiln 100K, Bamboo Sea 50K and Tea Path 30K. The organiser's published courses are approximately 95.8 km with 5,573 metres of ascent, 51.8 km with 2,910 metres, and 31.2 km with 1,867 metres, respectively. The longest race starts at 8:00 am on Saturday and permits up to 30 hours. The 50K waves begin at 8:00, 8:20 and 8:40 am, with a 16-hour limit. The 30K waves start at 9:00, 9:20 and 9:40 am, with a nine-and-a-half-hour limit. Route measurements and checkpoint information may be updated before race day.
Participants must present a qualifying medical examination, including blood-pressure and ECG results, and meet the organiser's relevant entry requirements. Mandatory mountain-running equipment is checked at race-pack collection and may be inspected during the event. Aid stations offer refreshments but do not supply disposable cups, so runners must carry their own drinking vessel. Organisers also describe medical and mountain-rescue support along the routes.
Pre-registration was held in May and June, with a subsequent July ballot and payment process. Entry should not be assumed to remain available. Runners should consult the official Huipao race page for the current participation status, rules, maps and collection arrangements.
