Event Detail
KOLON SPORT Ultra-Trail Ninghai 2026 brings one of China's established mountain-running festivals back to Ninghai County, Zhejiang, from 13 to 15 November 2026. First held in 2013, the event is staged on the trails of western Ninghai, combining forest paths, bamboo groves, streams, village lanes and strenuous ridgeline climbing. West Gate Tower (西门城楼) in Ninghai is the race headquarters and start/finish landmark. The 2026 programme is a three-day trail festival with separate starts for each distance.
Three distinct mountain challenges
- CNH-60, approximately 58.8 km, starts Friday 13 November at 06:00 China time (a second start wave is listed at 06:20). The organiser describes about 2,400 m of climbing and a 14-hour time limit.
- UTNH-100, approximately 100.6 km, starts Saturday 14 November at 06:00, with about 4,986 m ascent and a 24-hour cut-off.
- YNH-25, approximately 24.8 km, starts Sunday 15 November at 07:00, with additional waves at 07:20 and 07:40, about 618 m ascent and a 6-hour cut-off.
The event names are rounded distance classes; actual measured course lengths can differ. ARC's current distance taxonomy does not contain a 60K option, so the CNH-60 race is described here rather than mislabelled as a 50K category.
Race-week logistics
The official registration partner lists race-pack collection at West Gate Tower on 12 November, 10:00–21:00 for CNH-60, 13 November, 10:00–21:00 for UTNH-100, and 14 November, 10:00–20:00 for YNH-25. Bring the identity document used to register and the compulsory equipment for your race. Longer-distance entrants must demonstrate relevant recent race-finishing experience; the published rules also require a recent medical report including blood-pressure and ECG information. Check the organiser's latest participant guide, as eligibility, mandatory kit and collection procedures are important safety requirements.
For travelling runners, Ninghai has a rail station served from larger Zhejiang cities. Plan transfers and accommodation around your particular race's early morning start; all three courses operate on different days, with the 100K extending overnight. The organiser's site currently shows registration closed. Do not assume entries remain available through third-party agents; check the official website for any updates. Final course files and all rules should be confirmed with the race organiser rather than inferred from earlier editions.
