Victoria 162 2027

Victoria 162 returns for its seventh edition from 12 to 14 March 2027, using Hong Kong itself as the course rather than a single park or mountain loop. The headline V162 is a 164 km, 100-mile trail ultra starting at Tung Chung Development Pier Promenade, traversing Lantau, the New Territories and Hong Kong Island, and finishing at Kennedy Town Temporary Recreation Ground. The organiser lists the race at UTMB Index 100M level with six ITRA points, a 46-hour limit and a field capped at 150 runners.

The wider weekend uses connected sections of the same cross-territory concept. L57 covers 57 km around South Lantau with a 15-hour limit and starts at 08:00 on Friday 12 March. N80 runs 81 km from Lai King to Junk Bay from 07:00 on Saturday, with a 24-hour limit. H50 covers 51 km from Quarry Bay to Kennedy Town from 08:00 on Sunday, while H25 follows a 25 km Hong Kong Island section from 11:00 with an eight-hour limit. A three-day Challenge and three-day Race combine L57, N80 and H25 on consecutive days. Capacities are published at 100 for L57, 200 for N80, 300 for H50, 400 for H25 and 50 for the three-day formats.

The V162 itself starts at midnight at the beginning of Saturday 13 March. Its route moves from Lantau to the New Territories and then Hong Kong Island. Harbour-transfer sections are completed by public transport, with standardised time deductions applied regardless of the actual journey time. V162 runners may deposit finish luggage and a midway drop bag, both transported to the Kennedy Town finish for collection after 06:00 on Sunday.

Registration opened on 21 September 2026 and uses several price periods through 13 February 2027. V162 entrants must have completed a trail race, ultramarathon or stage race of at least 70 km during 2021-2026, while the shorter races and three-day formats have no prerequisite. The organiser also permits V162 teams of two to four runners.
