BeAthlit Lake Run Bengaluru - December Edition 2026

BeAthlit Lake Run, December Edition 2026, is the ninth event in BeAthlit's Bengaluru Lake Run Series. On Sunday 6 December, participants choose their own lakeside route at Jakkur Lake, Sarakki Lake, Sankey Tank Lake or Agara Lake, then run or walk independently along the selected lake. It is a community participation event, not a conventional timed road race.

How this edition works

Choose one of the four lakes during registration, rather than arriving at any venue without checking your booking. Report to the BeAthlit team at your selected lake entrance between 6:00 am and 9:00 am IST, with completion by approximately 9:30 am. Pick up your event shirt, if included in your booking, and complete your chosen 1.6K, 3K, 5K or 10K at your own pace. Use Strava or another accepted fitness-tracking app to record the distance; show the recorded activity to the organiser's lake team to claim your medal. An accompanying adult's recorded activity may be accepted for children who run with them.

No race bibs, timed results, marshalled route, hydration stations or on-route support are provided. Take your own drinking water and follow the lakes' public-access rules. The event has a 6:00 am starting window rather than individually timed mass flag-offs.

Category prices and inclusions

The current official 2026 booking page advertises INR 369 for 1.6K, INR 399 for 3K, INR 450 for 5K, INR 699 for 10K, and a separate INR 100 Run Only Pass, before any additional booking charges. The standard distance entries include a T-shirt and medal; the 10K also advertises a 250 ml electrolyte drink. The December registration page lists a T-shirt and medal for the INR 100 Run Only Pass, while the organiser's series FAQ excludes these items from that pass. Confirm the exact Run Only Pass entitlements with the organiser before paying.

Legend of the Lakes

Participants who complete runs at five different lakes during the 2026 calendar year, including this December edition if eligible, can earn the series' composite Legend of the Lakes medal. Prior events can be combined according to organiser rules.

The current official registration closing date is Saturday 5 December 2026. The map pin on this listing represents Jakkur Lake only; the event operates simultaneously at four venues. Choose the exact lake in the registration form and use that lake's directions rather than treating this map pin as a common race starting line.
