Singapore City in Nature Challenge 2026

The Singapore City in Nature Challenge 2026 is the third edition of RunSociety's 45-day virtual walking and running challenge, celebrating Singapore's green spaces and encouraging everyday activity. It runs from 31 October to 14 December 2026, with no fixed venue or mass start. Anyone can participate worldwide, including on a treadmill.

One entry, three cumulative milestones

This is one open-distance challenge, not three separately entered races. Participants log eligible walking, running or hiking distances and unlock rewards along the way:

• 36 km – Cross the Island: Green Corridor Finisher e-badge.
• 150 km – Circle the Island: Island Explorer Finisher e-badge.
• 360 km – Complete the Network: C2C Ultra Finisher e-badge.

Distances accumulate across multiple sessions during the 45-day period. Participants do not need to reach all three goals. An activity must be at least 0.5 km and last at least one minute. Cycling and skating do not count. Participants submit screenshots through their Heyrace account or follow the official guide for supported activity syncing; activities are checked by the Heymetriq system.

Registration and entitlements

Registration: 22 August–30 October 2026, unless entries sell out earlier. The official race page currently advertises early-bird SGD 32.90 until 18 October, standard SGD 38.90 from 19–25 October, and late SGD 48.90 from 26–30 October. Pricing depends on timing and availability. Singapore shipping is advertised at SGD 4.99, free on orders of SGD 50 or more; international shipping is calculated at checkout.

Every registration includes a recycled-blend City in Nature event T-shirt, personalised digital certificate on completing a milestone, digital badges, finisher titles and activity tracking. A canvas tote is also advertised as included, although promotional conditions should be checked at checkout. A reclaimed-wood Heartwood Medallion and other clothing are optional paid add-ons, not guaranteed free medals.

RunSociety organises the challenge and uses the Heyrace platform for registration and progress tracking. The event promotes walking and running anywhere, with optional suggested routes through Singapore's park connectors and nature areas.
