Borgaonkar Rotary Kalyan Marathon returns to Kalyan West on Sunday, 22 November 2026 for an established charity road-running event organised by the Rotary Club of New Kalyan. The event raises funds for the Rotary Divyang Center and other humanitarian projects, linking the race directly with the club's work providing artificial limbs and community support.
The current official 2026 programme lists four distances: a 21.0975 km Half Marathon, 10K, 5K and 3K Fun Run. Although the event retains "Marathon" in its established name, the organiser's current race-category page does not list a 42.195 km race for this edition, so only the four published 2026 distances are mapped here. The organiser describes the course as fast and confirms that the route has World Athletics certification. The current registration partner also describes the measured route as AIMS-certified.
Race morning is based at Rotary Sports Circle, Bhandari Chowk, near Gandhari Bridge in Kalyan West. The organiser's current category page lists the Half Marathon starting at 05:30 and the 10K at 06:00. The 5K and 3K are non-timed participation races, with organiser-listed starts at 08:15 and 08:45 respectively. The registration partner still displays earlier 07:00 and 07:30 starts for those two shorter races, so participants should follow the final organiser instructions if the timetable is updated.
The Half Marathon and 10K use official timing and finishers are listed to receive digital timing certificates and medals. The 5K and 3K are non-timed and do not receive timing certificates. Current registration terms state that overall route support is withdrawn four hours after the Half Marathon start.
Bib collection is required before race day at the event expo. The 2026 collection date and venue have not yet been published. There is no race-day bib collection, while authorised proxy pickup is permitted with the required identification and consent documentation. Registration remains open on the current official registration platform, with no definitive closing date published.
